I Said, “Watch the Joker”

Here we go again with another really weird renaming confusing trick story thing… This one is now called “Keep Your Eye On The Joker.” You’ll find it on my Stone Cold Magic DVD. In the no-longer-available-book, it was called “I Said, ‘Watch The Joker.'”

It was meant to be a sequel to David Winkler’s effect “Watch The Joker” which is now called “The WTC Move” and can also be found on my Stone Cold Magic DVD.

Moving on… Here it is:

Indeed, it was a sad day in the land of bicycle when the Spot card who cried Joker was not believed. This was the third time today that he cried Joker. Everyone came running and screaming to help the little Spot card protect the herd of Tens from the sly and dangerous Joker, but this time there were no fools to come running to save the Spot boy.

What a shame it was when momma Spot discovered that her little Three of Hearts is now merely a Two of Hearts, and that a Joker somewhere is wearing a Heart shaped bell on his crown.

Momma Spot could only cry and couldn’t take the truth. It’s said that to this very day, Queen of Hearts (Momma Spot) can be found sitting on the deck in her rocking chair chanting the eerie cry, over and over, “I said, ‘Watch the Joker,’ I said, ‘Watch the Joker…'”
