Hey everyone, I’ve got a small gift for y’all. My new book 793.8 has been a work in progress for over 2 years now. It’s almost ready. I’m hoping for a 4th quarter release date. Update: It’s officially here, and you can get it by clicking on the image above!

Jefferson T. Cornpone, having read your preview, seeing that you “get it” in ways that go far beyond the normal expectations of magic, and seeing you put your heart on the line –

If you can live up to your stated goals, I shall be first in line to buy your book. If it’s not ready by payday, I shall pre-order it.

And may I congratulate you on what is, in hindsight, the best and most obvious title for a book about magic?!

@Chet – Thanks my brother. I’ve been working on this thing forever. I’m really hoping it’ll be done soon. I’m glad you “get” the title. That was one thing I was worried about when I came up with it a couple years ago. I was afraid it would be too obscure, but I decided to go with it because nothing speaks the meaning of the book better than that number.

I to have read the teaser and am eager to see the finished copy. While the title is a stroke of obscured genius I would love to know how many magicians will get the “ref” made by the books title. Even had core magic “readers” may not catch on, keep them thinking, I am loving it ………

I’m 83…OF COURSE I KNOW WHAT 793.8 means.
I used to get lost there in the 30’s and 40’s.
The book SHOULD be great. I’ve been pushing the magi to be an entertainers for years and think about what they’re doing. Hopefully it will move a lot of “catalog” magicians on to a higher level.
Waiting patiently to get lost once again in 793.8

I’m hoping that this book will be a turning point for many magicians. That’s a big and bold dream. I hope I can live up to it.

I’m not finished with it yet, but love the thoughts on book tests and the reworked version of Little People.
